Why are Chinese so afraid of Modi?
- It
is not only Chinese so afraid of Modi but also they are jealous of not
having such a leader in China or Chinese leaders are not as bold as he
is. In spite of so much of verbal provocations from Chinese side, Modi
has been keeping calm, and silent, which is perturbing to them. All
their psychological warfare is going into the drain putting them in a
spot of confusion as to what to do next.
- China which is having
the ambition of becoming the world's superpower has been silencing many
smaller nations and island states by its Jingoistic tactics or
belligerent attitudes. But in the case of India they have failed. Now
their superpower dream is hanging fire. The world is watching them and
their moves keenly. They may not be taken seriously in future. Also in a
full scale war the result is anybody’s guess. Chinese are wary of full
scale war.
- Modi has in a short span of three years developed
India into a powerful country. India has the support of the entire
world, except perhaps Pakistan and North Korea. Trump called Modi a
friend openly hugging him several times, so also Isreal PM. Indian
diplomacy and its reach far out spaced that of China.
- Modi
cannot be bought by enticing him like what they are doing in other
smaller island states. Modi’s passion towards the nation and his
nationalism is unquestionable. China is worried about their future
course of action regarding India.
- Modi’s firm stand has put the
Chinese in a piquant situation. If they withdraw their troupes the world
will not respect them. Other smaller nations too may raise against
them. If they go for war it will end in destruction and loss of lives.
Either way China is going to lose. It's ambition of becoming superpower
will be held up or postponed. This is not what they wanted.

What did Karna asked after his death from Krishna?
Karna is my favorite character from the Mahabharata. If there is one person I would like to be it is Karna.
Every
person is criticized/glorified even Krishna, but Karna never has any
questions asked about his integrity. Krishna considered Karna the
greatest warrior (even greater than Arjun), the greatest philanthropist
and even more righteous than Yudhishtir. Of all I would present four
stories in short. (There are many)
There are several stories around it-
- On
the battle field, Arjun and Karna were engaged in a duel. After every
blow, Karna’s chariot went back 16 yards, while Arjun’s only went back 3
yards. Krishna was in awe over Karna. Arjun inquired, Krishna replied-
‘With you, there is the weight of the entire cosmos, yet he can move us
three yards’.
- Krishna, once asked Arjun to distribute a mountain
of gold amongst people, he began distributing it. Karna came and told
people- ‘the mountain is yours’. Krishna said- ‘Arjun, while distributing, you got attached to the value and quanitiy of gold, Karna didn’t.’
- Karna
made a vow, to always donate whatever anyone asked when praying to Sun
God ( he didn’t know until the battle that he was the child of the Sun).
Lord Indra went to him disguised- he asked for Karna’s golden
armour, that he was born with. To uphold the vow, he gave it away. Lord
Indra then showed him his divine form and blessed him.
- On
his death bed, Krishna went to him as a disguised monk and asked for
alms. Karna took a stone lying beside him and broke off his gold filled
tooth and gave it to him. Krishna impressed, showed his cosmic form and
sang to him the Bhagvad Gita. He remained the only person other than
Arjun to have heard the Bhagvad Gita. Duryodhana chose not to hear it.
On his death bed, he asked Krishna about is life.
- Karna tells
Krishna "lot of unfairness has happened to me. Is it my fault that I am
born illegitimate? My mother left me the moment I was born. I , who
should have been brought up in palace was brought up in 'sutha's house. I
did not get full education (in war science) from Dhronacharya because I
was considered as a 'sutha'. Even though Parasurama taught me full, he
gave me a curse that I should forget everything , since I was a
kshatriya. Is it my fault. I didn't even know I was a kshatriya. Some
boy came running and was hit by my chariot. It was not my fault, it was
an accident. Even then the boy's father cursed me. Even in Draupadi's
'swayamvara' I was disgraced for being a 'sutaputra' even though I was
the 'suryaputra'.Kunti had affection only for her other children. She
never told me the truth and finally when she did tell me , she asked me
not to use any weapon on her son's second time. Even though she never
behaved like a mother , I gave her whatever she asked. I should have got
the throne of ' Kurukula'but am ruling a kingdom I got out of
Dhuryodhana's charity.Bhishma never gave me any respect as a worthy
person and he also disgraced me and disallowed me to fighting in the
army under his Generalship. I am beating all this due to friendship of
Dhuryodhana. You all might think that he is a villain, but he has done
only good to me. Even when Gods left me Dhuryodhana stood by me. So what
is wrong in my being in his side. "
- Krishna answers. “Karna, I
was born in a jail. Death was waiting for me even before my birth. The
night I was born I was separated from my mother. At least you had some
education in 'sutha' house. From childhood you grew up hearing the noise
of swords, chariots, horses,bow and arrows. For me I got only cow
herd's shed. No swords, no chariots, but only cattles, cow dung, milk
maids with attempts on my life by Kamsa. No army, no education. In young
age I was accused of killing my own uncle. In fear of Jaradandha I had
to move my whole community from the banks of Yamuna to far off Sea shore
a very new place. I could hear people saying I am the reason for all
their problems. I was also called a coward for running away. When all of
you were being appreciated for your valours by your teacher (guru) I
had not even joined a Gurukula. I joined the gurukula of Rishi Sandipani
only at the age of 16. You have a kingdom, but what about me. When
girls whom I don't even know, want me to protect them by marrying them I
have to rush there leaving whatever I am doing. I never got the girl I
loved but any one who loves me , get me. If Dhuryodhana wins the war you
will get lot of credit and will become more famous. I am just a Sarathi
( charioteer). What do I get if Dharmaraja wins the war? Already I am
being blamed for the war and all problems. This blame will not vanish if
Dharmaraja wins or loses. Remember one thing Karna. Everybody has
challenges in life. LIFE IS NOT FAIR ON ANYBODY. Dhuryodhana has lots
and lots of unfairness in life. So also Yudhishtra. But what is Right
(Dharma) is known to your mind ( conscious). How much unfairness we got,
how many times we were disgraced, how many times we were denied what is
due to us, is not important. What is important is how you REACTED at
that time decides your personality. Stop whining Karna. Learn to walk in
the path of consciousness ( विवेका). Life's unfairness does not give
you license to walk the wrong path (अधर्मा). Even though he knew,
Pandavas demanded only 5 villages of the entire kingdom that was rightly
theirs, Karna who was the only person Duryodhana listened to, refused
to advise his friend. Instead, he chose to fight for his friend choosing loyalty over conscience and righteousness.
- Krishna told Karna that- his character would be unquestionable, even his enemies would sing glories of his ‘ bravery, integrity, humility, and righteousness’

What incidents and events have made India proud?
Every nation has things the citizens can be proud of. Here are the things for which I'm proud.
- The birthplace of a great many thinkers - Gandhi, Ashoka, Chanakya (who helped create first Indian empire and his book "Arthasastra" is still a great reading for strategists and planners) and Aryabatta (one of the great mathematicians in India) and located near to Nepal (where the birthplace of Shakyamuni Buddha lies just 20 km away from Indian border).
- It is the birthplace of the 3rd (Hinduism), 4th (Buddhism), 7th (Jaininsm) and 10th (Sikhism) largest religions of the world. Besides that it is the largest Zorastrian and Bahaii country, 2nd largest Muslim country in the world, 4th largest Christian country in Asia. Who are required to register under GST Law?
“GST REGISTRATION”
Dealers having annual turnover less than Rs. 20Lacs are not required to register under GST.
However in certain cases A limit of Rs. 10Lacs is set to consider registration under GST [limit Rs 10 lakhs for North Eastern States, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir]
And for certain persons GST registration has to be done irrespective of its turnover,
- persons making any inter-State taxable supply.
- casual taxable persons making taxable supply.
- persons who are required to pay tax under reverse charge.
- persons who are required to pay tax under section 9(5) [electronic commerce operators]
- non-resident taxable persons making taxable supply.
- persons who are required to deduct tax under section 51 (TDS), whether or not separately registered under the Act [Thus, separate registration is required for TDS purposes]
- persons who supply goods or services or both on behalf of other taxable persons whether as an agent or otherwise.
- input service distributor whether or not separately registered under the Act [Thus, separate registration is required for ISD purposes]
- persons who supply goods or services or both, other than supplies specified under section 9(5), through such electronic commerce operator who is required to collect tax under section 52.

What is the difference between a VAT and a GST?
Goods
and Service Tax is an indirect tax which the Government of India is
planning to levy on all goods and services apart from those exempted by
the GST law. The GST taxation laws will put an end to multiple taxes
which are levied on different products, starting from the source of
manufacturing to reaching the end consumer.
The
GST is a dual taxation regime, where the only two components will be
Central GST (CGST) and State GST (SGST). Under such nomenclature the
total amount of GST for any goods or service will be distributed in both
State and Central exchequers.
How is GST different from VAT?
VAT
is applicable for goods sold and not service. Service tax takes care of
services rendered. However, GST will be applicable for both goods and
services, and will have a uniform pricing.
Very
simply put, VAT is the tax a manufacturer has to pay for the additional
value created. So, if the raw material costs INR 50 and finished
product costs INR 100, the value added to raw material is INR 50.
However, the VAT applicable on INR 100 and INR 50 will be based on the VAT guidelines and the difference of those tax amounts needs to be paid by the manufacturer.
GST
is essentially riding on the VAT calculation but with uniform taxation
across goods and services. This is exceptionally easy computability as
some goods are sold as services, like a food in a restaurant, and vice
versa.
The proposed framework rides on the
current principles but is slightly different when it calculates the
interstate sales. The interstate sales are handled by an integrated GST
model. This system ensures correct allocation of SGST and CGST, and the
correct flow of money between the state and central exchequers.
Pros of GST
- Uniformity in computing taxes for goods and service and elimination of multiple excise, CST, VAT, service tax calculations
- Fixed rate of tax regime for both goods and services. The exact percentage is yet to be decided.
- Appropriate allocation to Central and State funds.
- Accounting will be simplified and consideration for input tax from raw materials will also become easy.
Cons of GST
- VAT and service tax on some products may become higher than the current levels.
- Most developed economies use a single GST instead of a dual GST. Hence, it will still be a very complicated billing and reconciliation IT machinery.
- Since the mechanism is still complicated, it cannot completely eliminate black money and tax evasion.

What is the impact of Reliance Jio on Indian citizens?
Before JIO — I was paying Rs. 5500 to Airtel for 45 GB data with an avg speed of 30 mbps.
After Jio — I now pay Rs. 1300 to Airtel for 140 GB data with an average speed of 100 Mbps.
Although,
I have never used Jio, I thank Jio for helping consumers across India
to fight monopoly business practices of telecom companies.
Why do most Indians not use toilet paper?
Because paper can't do what water can. Especially for cleaning.
Westerners, you won't get that. So I will present here an example.
Put some Nutella on your right hand. Then wipe it off with a piece of paper, preferably toilet paper.
Put some Nutella on your left hand. Now wash this with water, preferably a faucet.
Now touch and smell both the hands.
The right hand would smell of Nutella and you may feel some remnant on it too.
But the left hand neither smells of Nutella nor there is anything to touch.
Now
imagine. Put your bodily waste instead of Nutella. Now tell me, which
one is more hygienic?? You want a little remnant there or complete
cleanliness?
Well, Indians have always been pro-what-feels-right!! Hope that makes sense.
